Welcome to 'Tea Time With Victoria'
Hi! I'm Vicky. Thank you for stopping by my blog, where I share snippets about what I love or like, my family, my pet peeves and just about anything that I feel like to share. My family is just another ordinary family and I just love sharing pictures and photos of things or places I love; not to show off or to compete with anyone out there! Cheers and God bless us all!

49. Good Morning Sweetheart!
What could taste better than a cup of hot tea first thing in the morning, while watching your children taking their places at the breakfast table! Yes....my children are my sweethearts....forever. Sometimes I wonder, after all these years, if they think of me the way I do of them. Or love me they way I love them. When I mentioned this subject to my husband, he would say, "Of course they do, honey. They are your daughters, and there is no doubt that you've raised them well." And that feeling of maternal pride would fill up my heart.

45. Turkish Coffee (Türk Kahvesi)
What I like about Turkish coffee ( Türk kahvesi) is that the coffee beans used are freshly roasted and ground that give the brewed coffee its awesome aroma! To make my Turkish coffee, I bought a special Turksih/Arabic coffee pot called 'cezve' or 'ibrik'.

As Turkish coffee is rather bitter to most people, one or two pieces of Turkish delights (sweets) are normally served with a cup of Turkish coffee to 'sweeten' the mouth! My favourite Turkish delights are those from Hafiz Muztafa. A family friend went to Turkey for a vacation and brought back a packet for us.

43. Hello Wednesday - How Fast Time Flies!
With one child residing in the far east in the Land Of The Rising Sun, and the other residing in the far west in Uncle Sam's land, I don't know whether to say "Good morning!" or "Good evening!" My husband and I are half way in between!
The set of demitasse/expresso cups featured below were one of the 2 sets chosen by my daughter, Stephany, who fell in love with their cuteness! Their attractive packaging is one of the reasons she picked this set for me.

42. Amazing Grace.....
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I'm found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
T'was Grace that taught,
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear,
the hour I first believed.
(Many thanks and sincere appreciation to the owner of this video clip)
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come.
Tis Grace has brought me safe thus far,
and Grace will lead us home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
as long as life endures.
We've been there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise,
than when we've first begun.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come.
Tis Grace has brought me safe thus far,
and Grace will lead us home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
as long as life endures.
We've been there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise,
than when we've first begun.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
